Switch is an arts, entertainment, and lifestyle magazine published bi-weekly in Portland, Maine. They wrote a feature article on The Maine Ghost Hunter's Society for their Halloween edition.

Village Soup is a an off-shoot of The Capital Weekly, providing on-line news to communities around the country. They wrote an article about the Maine Ghost Hunter's Society's investigation at the infamous Devil's Footprint in Manchester, Maine.

MANCHESTER (Oct 22, 08): Some say the devil has been to Manchester. According to folklore, there's even physical proof.

As far back as 92-year-old Lionel Gilbert can remember, a stone at the cemetery on Scribner Hill Road has possessed a strange mark known as the devil's footprint.

At a recent trip to the meetinghouse, Cindy noted something odd about the stone. Her dog, a golden retriever named Maize, stared intently at the footprint for several minutes.

“Maybe she sees something we don't,” Cindy suggested.

According to members of The Maine Ghost Hunters Society, that offhand explanation is probably true...
